He's really a big helper. He'll hold the measuring cup over the bowl while I pour stuff in. Then he dumps it into the bowl. Then you have to quickly get it out of his hands before he throws it, because everything is a Baa (ball).
When he stirs he keeps most of it in the bowl, a pretty good feat for an 18 month old (no mom biase at all). We had everything all mixed together and he was ready to put them in the cups. I walked over to the kitchen table and when I came back he was helping. He knew the batter went in the paper cups, so he'd grabbed some out of the tray, scooped them in the batter and put them back....small mess here. Jake asked me later why the batch made so few cupcakes...I could have blamed it on Nate, but really we probably ate more batter than he spilled.
I was impressed that he knew what to do. Which means hes either really sharp or we make cupcakes way to often. Probably both.

I am sure he is just smart for watching you make cupcakes even if you make them often! I don't think I dare let Alli be my helper for cooking yet-maybe in a few months :)
There are many a times I wish I didn't have so many around me at home that I could enjoy doing thigns like that with Tristan, wrangling all of them is jsut so hard. Hopefully it'll be getting better, just after it gets worse!!
